MOSCOW, Aug 30 (PRIME) -- Russian state-controlled telecom operator Rostelecom will not equip the government with smartphones running on its operating system Avrora in 2019 because the Finance Ministry will not allocate the money, business daily Vedomosti reported on Friday, quoting sources.
The 2019 budget does not stipulate such expenses and the necessity of the project itself is now questioned, because a gradual transfer of the government and state companies to smartphones with Avrora will be too costly.
